Solace
Size: 6 x 12 in
Description:
Solace centers on a dragonfly with dark, intricately detailed wings resting over a cascade of red and coral poppies. Set against the same hand-applied gold leaf finish as the rest of the Golden Hour Collection, the deeper tones of this piece give it a quieter, more grounded feel than its warmer companions. The poppies trail down the panel from top to bottom, their centers marked with crystal accents, while smaller floral sprigs and leaves fill the lower portion of the piece.
The gold leaf base is built up in textured, brushed layers, giving the surface a natural variation in tone and shine. The dragonfly and florals are hand-layered onto the gilded surface, then finished with Swarovski crystal detailing at the dragonfly's body and each poppy's center. Finished on a solid wood panel, ready to hang with hardware attached on the back. Hand-signed "Robyn M" with a single crystal accent at the lower right.
Poppies have long carried associations with memory and rest, and that quieter, reflective quality is at the heart of this piece. Solace works well anywhere you want a grounding, contemplative focal point — a hallway, a bedroom, or a quiet corner of a living space.
