Held Together is an original mixed media artwork created with acrylic paint, texture, and Swarovski crystals on 1½" deep gallery wrapped canvas. Part of the Where Color Takes Root Collection, this richly textured piece weaves together luminous color, intricate detail, and tactile depth — a single form holding a whole spectrum of color within its edges.

A single bold heart shape fills the canvas, its outer edges built from thick, sweeping strokes of navy, teal, magenta, and crimson layered wet into wet. At its center, a softer field of blush pink and lavender catches loose strokes of gold, the whole interior traced by a continuous line of clear Swarovski crystals that outline the heart's shape from point to point.
